About Mike D’Angelo
I help people work through the relationships costing them too much.
Everyone has one.
A client. A boss. A teammate.
A partner. A family member.
A friend. A co-parent.
Or yourself.
Sometimes it looks like stress.
Sometimes it looks like overthinking.
Sometimes it looks like avoidance, short replies, lost sleep, low energy, or one hard talk you keep putting off.
But underneath it, there is often one relationship taking up more space than it should.
That is where I help.
I help people slow it down, see what is really going on, and find the next best move.
Simple. Honest. Effective
Why this work matters to me
I have seen a lot of relationship chapters up close.
Marriage. Divorce. Co-parenting.
Saying I would never get married again.
Getting married again. Blending a family. Becoming a bonus dad. Loving and supporting a family that includes a kiddo on the spectrum. I’m bonus uncle too. Lastly, I’ve been promoted to grand parent (name still pending).
I have also seen what happens when the relationship with yourself gets off track.
Your work. Your money.
Your identity. Your success.
Your need to prove.
I have chased the gold star. I had the big house. The nice cars.
The title. The pay. The p-club trips. The awards.
The “good on paper” life. And I still lost my way.
I learned the hard way that success does not fix a relationship that is costing you too much.
Sometimes the relationship costing the most is not with another person.
Sometimes it is with who you think you have to be.
That is why this work matters to me.
Because relationships are not soft.
They are often the thing underneath everything else.
I did not learn this from a book.
I learned it from life.
I went to school for exercise physiology because I wanted to help people feel and perform better. Then I went back to school for nursing. Then life pulled me into healthcare technology.
Then came early career job losses. Twice. Both around the births of my kids.
That changes you.
It teaches you pressure. It teaches you fear. It teaches you what happens when identity and income get shaken at the same time.
From there, I moved into technology, sales, leadership, sales enablement, coaching, and advisory work.
I worked for companies like Novell, Trend Micro, Microsoft, IBM, and several startups.
I have been the individual contributor. The sales leader. The top performer. The person chasing the next title. The person wondering why the wins did not feel the way I thought they would.
I have seen the inside of big companies, small companies, fast companies, messy companies, and teams under pressure.
And I have learned this: Most people do not fail because they do not care.
They get stuck because pressure changes how they relate.
To themselves. To other people.
To work. To money. To success.
To the future.
That is the real work.
I know what it feels like to lose your way.
There was a time when I had a lot of the things people are told to want.
The house. The cars. The income. The title. The recognition.
I even won the gold star.
Literally.
I earned the Gold Star award while at Microsoft.
But somewhere along the way, I lost parts of myself.
I lost money. I lost time. I lost some relationships.
I lost the version of success I thought would fix everything.
And through divorce, career changes, job loss, rebuilding, remarriage, blended family life, and starting over more than once, I learned something I now believe deeply:
You can have great results on paper and still feel off inside.
You can be successful and still be stuck.
You can be high-performing and still have one relationship draining too much from you.
That is not failure. That is a signal. And signals are worth listening to.
What I believe now
I believe better relationships create better results.
Not perfect relationships. Better ones.
More trust. More honesty.
More clarity. More calm.
More follow-through.
I believe most people do not need more blame or shame.
They need a clear place to start.
I believe hard relationships do not always need a huge plan.
Sometimes they need one honest look.
One better question. One next best move.
I believe the relationship costing you the most is rarely just about the other person.
It is often about the pattern. The old story.
The missed talk. The unclear ask. The broken trust.
The pressure no one named.
That is where we start.
Not with blame. With clarity.
What I created
I created Relationship SOS™ to help people work through one relationship that feels heavy, stuck, confusing, or costly.
It is for founders, leaders, sellers, parents, co-parents, high achievers, and real humans trying to do life without losing themselves in the process.
We start with one relationship.
The one taking up too much space. The one you keep thinking about.
The one costing you focus, energy, trust, sleep, confidence, or results.
Then we slow it down.
We look at:
what is happening
what you are carrying
what keeps repeating
what it is costing you
what you can control
what your next best move could be
That is Relationship SOS™.
It’s Simple. Honest. Effective.
How ResultsOS™ fits in
Relationship SOS™ is powered by ResultsOS™, the simple system I created to help people find patterns, reduce friction, and take the next best step.
You do not need to understand the whole system to start.
You do not need a giant workbook.
You do not need a 47-step plan.
You do not need to become a new person by Tuesday.
You just need to start with one relationship.
ResultsOS™ helps us ask better questions.
What matters most?
What is draining your energy?
What pattern keeps repeating?
What conversation is being avoided?
What is the next best move?
That is how we move from noise to clarity.
Who I help
I help people work through the relationships they value most...
but are quietly draining their focus, energy, trust, and results.
That may include:
a founder dealing with a co-founder, investor, employee, or client
a leader dealing with a boss, peer, direct report, or team member
a seller dealing with a buyer, customer, manager, or deal partner
a parent dealing with a child, adult child, spouse, or family member
a co-parent trying to work with someone when trust is low
a high-achiever dealing with pressure, identity, success, money, or self-talk
The relationship can be personal. It can be professional. It can be with yourself.
If it is costing too much, that’s the one we start with.
My style
My style is warm, direct, and practical.
No fluff. No guru nonsense. No corporate word salad.
I will not pretend your situation is simple if it is not.
But I will help make the next step simpler.
I bring care. I bring calm. I bring honest questions. And I bring lived experience.
I’ll bring a little humor too, because life is too short to be painfully intense all the time.
I am not here to judge you. I am here to help you see what is happening more clearly and choose your next best move.
Think trusted guide. Not person on a pedestal.
A little more official, if you like that sort of thing
I am the founder of ResultsLab.io and creator of Relationship SOS™ and ResultsOS™.
I have spent more than 30 years across healthcare, technology, enterprise software sales, sales leadership, sales enablement, coaching, and advisory work.
I earned a degree in Exercise Physiology from Temple University and a nursing degree from Thomas Jefferson University.
My career has taken me through healthcare technology, enterprise software, startups, Microsoft, IBM, and years of work with leaders, sellers, teams, parents, and high achievers under pressure.
But the real headline is simpler:
I help people get clear when relationships, pressure, identity, and results get tangled.
Why start with one relationship?
Because one relationship can drain a lot.
It can affect your focus. Your energy. Your sleep.
Your confidence. Your work. Your family.
Your results.
And when you try to solve everything at once, it gets too heavy.
So we start with one. One relationship. One honest look. One next best move.
That is enough to begin.
Start with one relationship
The most important one.
The one taking up too much space.
The one you keep thinking about.
The one costing more than you want to admit.
A client. A boss. A teammate.
A partner. A family member. A friend.
A co-parent if that applies.
Or yourself.
We’ll slow it down. Sort it out. And find your next best move.
