Great framing Mike. Love it. Small steps to great life results. Life is a continuous series of choices.

Some are easy. Some are hard. Some force real tradeoffs. And every choice is a decision about what matters more right now.

At ONELife, we simplify the decision process with a representative left-brain/right-brain lens. Not clinical neuroscience, just a useful way to ask: What does the rational side say? What does the intuitive, emotional side say? Where do they agree, and where is the tension?

Then apply that thinking across every active part of your life that matters most right now: work, health, finances, relationships, growth, environment, giving back, hobbies.

Because the hardest decisions rarely exist in isolation. Saying yes in one domain often means saying no, not now, or less somewhere else.

That is where strategy becomes so important. It gives you a basis for making the tradeoff instead of simply reacting to the choice in front of you.

One life. Many decisions. One coherent strategy.

MJ, appreciate this. I agree with the tradeoff point.

Every yes has a cost somewhere else.

Yes to this meeting may mean no to energy.

Yes to the extra project may mean no to family.

Yes to comfort may mean no to growth.

Yes to avoidance may mean no to peace.

That is why the small choices matter so much.

For me, the One Inch Rule is less about solving the whole life strategy in one move.

It is about the next honest move. The one inch you can actually take today.

Pause before reacting.

Make the call.

Have the conversation.

Take the walk.

Close the loop.

Tell the truth.

Strategy matters, but practice is what makes it real.

It is like martial arts. There are many schools, forms, theories, belts, and katas. All useful.

But nobody becomes a black belt by knowing the theory.

You advance through reps, correction, self-command, and showing up under pressure.

That is the work I care most about.

One life.

Many choices.

One inch at a time.

Appreciate you adding to the conversation.
